4. Government Approval

No Guarantee of Approval

We cannot guarantee that any filing, permit, license, registration, or application will be approved by any government agency.

Approval decisions are made solely by the applicable government authority.

LA Business Connect cannot guarantee:

• Approval of any permit
• Approval of any EIN request
• Approval by the California Secretary of State, IRS, county agencies, or local municipalities

Government agencies may reject or request corrections for reasons beyond our control.

5. Processing Times

Estimated processing times displayed on our website are estimates only.

Government agencies control their own review timelines, and delays may occur due to staffing.

Actual processing depends on:

6. Fees and Payments

All service fees are due at the time an order is placed unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Government filing fees, publication fees, permit fees, taxes, courier charges, expedited processing fees, and third-party costs may be additional unless expressly stated.

Payments are non-transferable.

7. Refund Policy

Because our services involve immediate administrative work and document preparation, refunds are limited.

Refunds will not be issued after:

• Documents have been prepared
• Government filings have been submitted
• Research has been completed
• Consulting services have been performed

If work has not yet begun, refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Government filing fees and third-party fees are non-refundable.

Service Fees

Our service fees compensate LA Business Connect for professional administrative services, document preparation, research, filing assistance, consulting, and customer support.

Government filing fees, agency fees, publication costs, courier fees, and other third-party expenses are separate from our service fees unless expressly stated otherwise.

Order Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of an order before work has begun.

If no work has been performed and no documents have been prepared, LA Business Connect may issue a full refund of the service fee, less any payment processing charges, if applicable.

Once work has begun, cancellation requests are subject to the refund guidelines below.

Refund Eligibility

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds generally will not be issued after any of the following has occurred:

• Research has begun.
• Documents have been prepared.
• Filing forms have been completed.
• Government filings have been submitted.
• Business consulting has been provided.
• Registered Agent services have been activated.
• Permit or licensing applications have been prepared or submitted.
• Customized documents have been created.

Government Fees

Government filing fees are non-refundable.

This includes fees paid to, or on behalf of:

• California Secretary of State
• Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
• County Clerk offices
• California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA)
• Local cities or counties
• Other government agencies

Once submitted, these fees cannot be recovered by LA Business Connect.

Filing Rejections

Government agencies may reject filings for reasons outside of our control.

Examples include:

• Name conflicts
• Missing customer information
• Government processing issues
• Agency policy changes
• Incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the customer

A government rejection does not automatically qualify for a refund.

When possible, we will assist in correcting filing issues; however, additional government or service fees may apply.

Customer Errors

LA Business Connect is not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information provided by the customer.

Corrections requested after submission may require additional fees.

Duplicate Orders

If a duplicate order is accidentally placed, please contact us immediately.

If work has not started on the duplicate order, we will refund the duplicate service fee.

Subscription Services

Registered Agent Services or other recurring services may be canceled at any time before the next billing cycle.

Fees already paid for the current service period are non-refundable.

Chargebacks

If you have questions regarding your order, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution.

Submitting a chargeback for services already performed may delay resolution and could result in additional collection efforts if the chargeback is determined to be invalid.

LA Business Connect may provide reminders regarding annual filings or compliance requirements as a courtesy.

Customers remain solely responsible for:

• Maintaining their business entity
• Filing annual reports
• Paying franchise taxes
• Renewing licenses
• Renewing permits
• Meeting all federal, state, county, and local compliance requirements

Failure to receive a reminder does not relieve the customer of these obligations.

10. Intellectual Property

• Graphics
• Documents
• Text
• Designs
• Forms
• Videos
• Educational materials

are the property of LA Business Connect unless otherwise noted.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.
